How the scoring works
Every number below is read live from the server that does the scoring, so this page cannot drift away from the maths that actually runs.
The round
Twelve games run every day and everybody in the Arena gets the same twelve. The puzzles turn over at 00:00 UTC rather than at your local midnight, so every player's day starts at the same moment.
You get one ranked attempt at each game per day. Refreshing does not burn it and does not restart your clock. Practice rounds are unlimited and never touch a board.
The formula
Points come from two places: how few guesses you needed, and how fast you were. The guess ladder is worth more than the clock across its full range, so a sharp solve always beats a lucky quick one, but between neighbouring rungs, speed decides it.
The guess ladder
The speed bonus
The bonus falls and never goes negative. Being slow costs you the bonus, never the base, a careful solve at four minutes still scores the whole ladder.
A round, scored
The two tables above, applied to one ordinary result. Every number here is computed from the same constants the scorer uses, so if the maths changes this example changes with it.
What pays chips instead
The day
Three missions land every morning, the same three for everyone, drawn from a pool by date. One weekly mission runs alongside them. Solve all every game in a day and the perfect-day chips land on top.
The boards
- Today
- The points scored since 00:00 UTC. Resets with the puzzles.
- Your room
- All time
- Your career total. It never resets.
- Fastest solves
- Today's quickest solve of each game, ranked on the clock alone. The guess ladder is ignored here.
Ties
Ties break on points, then on total solve time, then on who reached the total first. Two players who are genuinely level share a rank rather than being split by an arbitrary rule.
Divisions
A week where you scored nothing never relegates you.
Streaks
The streak counts every day you turn up, win or lose. Taking it away after a bad day would punish the player the streak exists to bring back.
Chips and levels
Points are a score and can never be spent.
Fair play
The answer never reaches your browser. It asks the server for a round, gets back only what it needs to draw the board, and every guess is judged server-side. The clock is the server's too.
Cover mode has to show you the answer's artwork before the answer is public. It gets a pre-blurred plate at a URL that names no slot, sharpened one step per guess. The steps are produced by throwing pixels away, so no filter in the browser can walk one back, and the sharp file only exists at that URL once your round is settled.
What we do not do
We do not fingerprint your device and we do not store your IP address. There is nothing to win here, so there is nothing worth building a surveillance layer to protect.

Where we stand
This is not gambling and it is not a casino. There is no stake, no wager, no deposit, no prize and no currency you can buy. Chips are earned by playing, cannot be purchased, and buy nothing outside this site. Points are a score.
It is a knowledge game about slot machines, made for people who already follow them. It is for adults: 18+.
This site is run by an affiliate. Links out to game demos and reviews may earn a commission. They appear only after a round is over, they are labelled, and they have no effect on any puzzle, score or leaderboard position.
Still holding a question?
The questions page covers the twelve games one at a time, what a streak does, and why this is not gambling. Each game also carries its own questions under the round while you play.
